  • President Donald Trump today is expected to name 10 judicial nominees, the first in what could be monthly announcements to fill more than 120 vacancies in lower federal courts. (The New York Times)
  • Sally Yates, the former acting U.S. attorney general who was fired by Trump for refusing to defend his travel ban, will be on Capitol Hill today to testify before a Senate subcommittee about her discussions with the White House regarding Russia. (The Washington Post)
  • Former President Barack Obama urged lawmakers to have “political courage” to defend the 2010 Affordable Care Act. (Politico)
  • Two dozen House Republicans are being targeted by an advertising campaign – backed by a liberal advocacy group at a cost of more than $500,000 – that criticizes them for their support of the House-passed health care bill. (Roll Call)
